SANY mini excavators to usher a new market in India

Driven by the “Belt and Road Initiative” and China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, excavators’ sales of this year grew at a high rate, with sales hitting a record high in the same period.

As the top brand of Chinese excavators, SANY have totally sold 24863 excavators from January to October. The industry insiders predicted that the sales of SANY excavator are expected to hit a record high of 30,000 units.

In October, China sold 10541 excavators, a year-on-year growth of 81.24 percent, among which 9661 excavators were sold on domestic market, while 871 excavators were sold to overseas markets.

SANY mini excavators were well-received in Indian market

SANY India, as one of SANY’s overseas branch companies, has made great achievements in 2007.

From January to October this year, SANY India’s sales amount achieved a year-on-year growth of 80 percent. The sales of SANY excavator saw a 41 percent growth in Indian market, ranking top 5 of the market share in October.

“SANY India has achieved 100 percent growth for 3 years. In 2016, SANY India’s sales amount reached 9.74 billion INR. In the first quarter of this year, its sales amount hit nearly 3.9 billion INR, a year-on-year growth of 90 percent. SANY’s market shares of truck crane and rotary drilling rig ranked No.1 in India, along with concrete machinery ranked No.2. Its annual sales amount is over 14.61 billion INR in India,” the head of SANY India said that SANY India is expanding its business by introducing two star mini excavator models-SY20C and SY35U to the Indian market.

In recent years, India took many efforts in urban construction, which generated a great need for machines working in narrow and complex urban spaces. To meet the needs in India market, SANY designs two specific mini excavators-SY20C and SY35U that can work in confined spaces with high performance.

Actually, SANY mini excavators were well-received by Indian market since it entered the market a year ago.

Raju sebastien, a customer from Pune who purchased a SANY SY20C mini excavator said that SY20C is very flexible and high efficient for working in narrow spaces. “I purchased this mini excavator for orchard planting. It’s flexible, so i can operate it at narrow spaces,” he was also very satisfied with SY20C’s high efficiency. “Although it is small, it is very powerful. With the help of the mini excavator, I can do the planting work by myself,” Raju said that he once hired 5 workers to plant fruit trees; after he purchased the mini excavator, it perfectly undertook the 5 men’s workloads. “It saves money and time for me!” he said.

Besides, Raju said that he felt very comfortable and safe when he operates SY20, since the alert and monitoring system gave real-time feedback about the machine's dynamics, highly improving the safety of both the operator and the machine.

It is just a start for SANY mini excavators to usher a new market in India. In the future, SANY India will take more efforts to promote its quality mini excavators and improve its after-sales service in order to provide best products and service for Indian customers.
